The 3.7 cm PaK 36 (Panzerabwehrkanone 36) is a German anti-tank cannon produced since 1928. It debuted successfully during the Spanish Civil War and showed great effectiveness against lighter armoured tanks in the early stages of the Second World War. Unfortunately, as early as 1940, during the French campaign, she was unable to pierce the thick armour of French and British tanks (eg. Matilda Mk II). After the invasion of the USSR, it proved powerless in the clash with T-34 tanks. Due to its ineffectiveness, she then gained the playful name "Anklopf" , or "knocker".
From the set you will build a faithfully rendered PAK-36 cannon. The model has movable wheels equipped with real rubber tires. The barrel can be moved vertically up and down. The whole set is complemented by a figure of a German artillery sub-officer with faithfully rendered details of the uniform. The easy-to-read manual also includes details of the COBI battle card, where you can use your model. It's a great gift for all small and large enthusiasts: history, military and armoured weapons.
